(September 11, 2006)
How dare you, Mr. President, after taking cynical advantage of the unanimity and love, and transmuting it into fraudulent war and needless death… after monstrously transforming it into fear and suspicion and turning that fear into the campaign slogan of three elections… how dare you or those around you… ever “spin” 9/11  More...

What really motivates suicide bombers?
(July 11, 2006)
But why are they prepared to kill themselves rather than conduct "normal" military attacks? A common assumption is that these jihadists must have been "brainwashed" or seized by the fervour of religious fundamentalism and cruelly initiated into a cult of death. But is that the correct assumption?  More...

    Israel's Deadliest Weapon
    (July 11, 2006)
Ambiguity is a luxury unique to Israel. Today the country is an inspection-free zone protected from scrutiny by America and her allies. The cold hard truth is that neither Israel's so-called friends nor its enemies stand a chance against its arsenal of lies.

Why Do They Want To Kill Us?
    (August 11, 2006)
Today, George W. Bush said, "Islamo-facists are trying to use any means to kill us because they hate the freedom we all love." Yes, Islamic terrorists are trying to kill us. But why? Islamic terrrorists are trying to kill us because our government has been funding and arming Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine for decades - - using OUR TAX DOLLARS.  More...

31 Similarities Between Hitler and George W. Bush
    (August 5, 2006)
This peice was written in August 2004. Most of us have known for sometime that Bush wants to invade Syria and Iran, however with approval poll ratings in the 30's - Bush did not have public support for more war. With the recent occupation of Israel in Lebanon, it appears Bush, along with Israel, have created a "loophole" to proceed with his original plans. And once again, the American masses will be lulled into complacency.   More...

    WHO ARE THE REAL TERRORISTS?
    (August 2006)
North Bergen, NJ USA -- For years, we in America have supported Israel both financially and militarily because we perceived they were the innocent victims of hostile and violent neighbors. The US media has, for years, provided extensive coverage of every incident involving Arab-against-Israeli violence. From shootings, to car bombs to suicide bombers, we in America have seen it all. Or have we?

Bloody Sunday in Qaner and US/Israeli War Games
    (July 30, 2006)
I have been up since 1AM last night. Israel slaughtered 60 more civilians (37 of which were babies and children) last night in the village of Qana Lebanon. I began watching the scenes unfold on CNN International. Most of the reporters doing the reporting were right there on location. All reported seeing nor hearing NO rockets being fired from that area. Though I know full well the US media is playing an incredible game of psychological state run warfare, the international reporters are far more honest than the US reporters.  More...

The Shame of Being An American
    (July 22-23, 2006)
Do you know that one-third of the Lebanese civilians murdered by Israel’s attacks on civilian residential districts are children? That is the report from Jan Egeland, the emergency relief coordinator for the UN. He says it is impossible for help to reach the wounded and those buried in rubble, because Israeli air strikes have blown up all the bridges and roads. Considering how often (almost always) Israel misses Hizbollah targets and hits civilian ones, one might think that Israeli fire is being guided by US satellites and US military GPS. Don’t be surprised at US complicity. Why would the puppet be any less evil than the puppet master?

Of course, you don’t know these things, because the US print and TV media do not report them.  More...

Hezbollah, Hamas and Israel: Everything You Need To Know
    (July 23, 2006)
A perilous excursion into the distant past, starting seven whole weeks ago. As the tv networks give unlimited airtime to Israel’s apologists, the message rolls out that no nation, least of all Israel, can permit bombardment or armed incursion across its borders without retaliation.

The guiding rule in this tsunami of drivel is that the viewers should be denied the slightest access to any historical context, or indeed to anything that happened prior to June 28, which was when the capture of an Israeli soldier and the killing of two others by Hamas hit the headlines, followed soon thereafter by an attack by a unit of Hezbollah’s fighters.  More...

Israeli Slaughter Of Lebanese Civilians In Pictures

    U.S. Rushes Bombs to Israel
    (July 22, 2006)
The decision to quickly ship the weapons to Israel was made with relatively little debate within the Bush administration, the officials said. Its disclosure threatens to anger Arab governments and others because of the appearance that the United States is actively aiding the Israeli bombing campaign in a way that could be compared to Iran’s efforts to arm and resupply Hezbollah.  More...

Israel Continues To Slaughter Lebanese Civilians
    (July 18. 2006)
Israel's government killed another 42 Lebanese civilians in aggressive airstrikes on targets mostly unrelated to Hizbullah on Monday raising the death toll to more than 254. If the reports coming out of Lebanon can be believed, the Israelis are only sometimes striking known Hizbullah safe houses or facilities or missile emplacements. A lot of their bombardment appears aimed at punishing civilian populations and forcing them north to Beirut. Such an approach would help explain the high number of civilian casualties. That is, there may be an element of ethnic cleansing in Israeli tactics.

    The Mideast Death Dance
    (July 14, 2006)
You need to understand the relationship among four pairs of actors to grasp the meaning of the escalating attacks by Hamas, Hizbullah and Israel in recent days. The four pairs are: Hamas and Hizbullah; the Palestinian and Lebanese governments; Syria and Iran; and, Israel and the United States.

Simplistically, President George W. Bush has depicted this latest round of war as a clash between good and evil, while the Israeli government has tried to blame Palestinians and Lebanese who only want to make war against a peace-loving Israel. The more nuanced and complex reality is that, collectively, these four pairs of actors play roles in the ongoing fighting, as we witness the culmination of four decades of failed policies that have kept the Middle East tense, angry and violent.

Israel is deeply perplexed about how to handle Hamas' resistance in Palestine, and the United States seems unable to offer any policy other than to support Israel's right to defend itself while withholding the same right from Lebanese and Palestinian civilians.

Israel Out Of Control ... Bad Cop, Worse Cop
    (July 13, 2006)
Calls for restraint from the United Nations and the European Union, urging Israel to recognize that military escalation will ultimately undermine its national interests, will predictably fall on deaf ears. And the intensification of the conflict will be all the more inexorable because of the conspicuous absence of an indispensable player in the region, the traditional guarantor of stability and essential intermediary for peace: the United States.  More...

Massacre at Haditha: Return of the Bad Apple Defense
    (May 28, 2006)
The Guardian Unlimited ran a story today about the Haditha massacre. It called the Marines who slaughtered two dozen civilians “rogues.” The bad apple defense is back. We need a new legal precedent that disallows this defense; but then again we need to put the whole war and the system that spawned it in the dock.

The Rise Of The Fourth Reich
    (Monday, October 31, 2005)
Everyone likes to say, "Hitler did this", and, "Hitler did that". But the truth is Hitler did very little. He was a world class tyrant, but the evil actually done by the Third Reich, from the death camps to WW2 was all done by German citizens who were afraid to question if what they were told by their government was the truth or not, and who because they did not want to admit to themselves that they were afraid to question the government.  More...
